In 1998, Josef Matějka and his wife Ivona founded Czech Comupter, only with a telephone and enthusiasm for importing technological innovations. The company was later renamed to CZC.cz and then sold it.

At present they are engaged in other business activities - they have their share in the software company oXy Online in Brno, which develops and manages the e-shop system for CZC.cz. The company has been operating on the market since 2001 and is one of the largest creators of complete e-shop solutions on the Czech market.
