Application for Czech-Israeli Innovation Internships 2025
Neuron Foundation and IOCB Tech Foundation are proud to announce a new call for applications for Czech-Israeli Innovation Internship in the Czech Republic.
For the first time since the program’s inception four years ago, we are proud to offer the internships simultaneously to both Czech and Israeli students. This expansion allows Czech students to gain valuable experience in Israel while welcoming Israeli students to the Czech Republic, where they will have the opportunity to work in state-of-the-art research facilities.
We are committed to fostering scientific progress and strengthening international collaboration. By facilitating this exchange, we not only provide students with hands-on experience in research but also create lasting academic and professional connections between the two countries. Under the guidance of esteemed Czech scientists, Israeli students will engage in research projects, gaining insights that will enrich their academic and professional journeys.
We are excited to continue building bridges between our scientific communities and look forward to seeing the impact this program will have on the future of innovation and research cooperation.
“I’m delighted to see how our Czech-Israeli student internship program continues to grow. In the first two years, we sent Czech students to Israel, then we invited Israeli students to the Czech Republic, and this year we plan to send students both directions. Thanks to this, Czech students will have a unique opportunity to get a closer look at Israel’s innovation environment and establish connections they can build on in the future,” says Barbara Eignerová, Chair of the IOCB Tech Foundation.
An Israeli Intern Discovered a Technique That Improved the Resilience of AI
For the first time, the Neuron Foundation and the IOCB Tech Foundation gave two talented Israeli students an internship at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University, where they could devote themselves to research in the field of artificial intelligence and the protection of cultural heritage.
About the Program
This program is in its 4th year of existence overall and it is the second year when Israeli students can travel to the Czech Republic. The program will offer four leading Israeli MA and/or PhD students to visit the Czech Republic and work in excellent Czech research facilities under the guidance of renowned scientists.
The one month long internship offers expanded research portfolios, gathering international contacts as well as overall invaluable experience.
The Czech-Israeli Innovation Internships Program is organized under the auspices of the Czech Embassy in Israel and the Embassy of the State of Israel in the Czech Republic.
