Nomination for the Neuron Award 2025 for Fostering Love of Science

Nominations are submitted by researchers, academics or research organisations. A scientist may not nominate themselves for a Neuron Award.

Nominations are open from 31 March 2025.

Nomination conditions

  • With the Neuron Award we honour exceptional teachers and educators who have done much to popularise science.
  • The laureate is decided by the scientific board and the international scientific board of Nadace Neuron
  • Educators born in the Czech Republic (or Czechoslovakia) may be nominated if they graduated from a Czech university and now work at home or abroad; in the latter case they must have regular contact with institutions in the Czech Republic, in the form of lectures or other work activities.
  • Educators can receive the Neuron Award in any scientific field.
  • The award comes with a personal financial prize of CZK 1,500,000.
