Neuron Club: AI Act, Law & Ethics

Artificial intelligence has been a key topic in numerous fields for the past couple of years. What are AI regulations? How can it be useful in medicine? Why is there such a difference in AI implementation in US and European companies? Neuron Club, more precisely its guests: Veronika Macurová Křížová, technology law specialist, Tomáš Mikolov, Neuron Awards laureate, language models expert and Martin Picek, a student with profound expertise in deep learning and computer neurosciences,   answered all these questions. The debate was moderated by journalist Pavel Kasík.

“Law enforceability in real time will be one of the main challenges.  Human element as well as developers’ creativity must remain irreplaceable. Artificial Intelligence must be used for the highest benefit of the company,” said Veronika Macurová Křížová.

This Neuron club took place September 26 in WPP premises. It provided a complex insight into AI matters and illustrated the importance of intersection of technology, ethics and regulations.
